 What are “motor skills?

Motor skills involve the movement of muscles with the purpose of performing an action.

We use our motor skills to do everyday things that involve our large and small muscles from walking and talking, to picking up a surf board and tying it on your racks.

When someone has motor difficulties, they are unable to move in the way that they originally intended. This can have a significant effect on a person’s performance in and out of the water.
